Spherical roller bearing is a kind of rolling bearing with special structure and performance.

Structural features

Roller shape:The rolling element is a spherical roller. Compared with the ordinary cylindrical roller, the contact between it and the raceway is curved, which can better adapt to the relative angular deviation.

Raceway design:The inner ring raceway is a double raceway, one of which is used to guide the rotation of the spherical roller, and the other raceway plays the role of auxiliary support and positioning; the outer ring raceway is spherical, and the center of curvature coincides with the center of the bearing, which makes the bearing have an automatic adjustment function.

Cage:Cages are made of a variety of materials, including stamped steel cages, solid copper cages, etc. Their function is to evenly separate the rollers to ensure the stability and order of the rollers during operation.

Working principle

Self-aligning performance:When there is a certain angular deviation between the shaft and the bearing housing (generally, the angle can be automatically adjusted in1.5° - 3° Due to the spherical shape of the outer ring raceway, the spherical roller can automatically adjust its position within the raceway to adapt to the tilt of the shaft, thus ensuring the normal operation of the bearing, reducing friction and wear, and reducing vibration and noise.

Carrying capacity:Spherical roller bearings can bear both large radial loads and certain axial loads. When bearing radial loads, the contact area between the spherical roller and the raceway is large, which can disperse the load and improve the bearing capacity; when bearing axial loads, the spherical shape and special contact angle of the roller can generate a certain axial component force to balance the effect of axial force.

Operating stability:During operation, the rollers of the spherical roller bearing can roll smoothly along the raceway under the guidance of the cage, reducing the friction and collision between the rollers, ensuring the operation accuracy and stability of the bearing. At the same time, the lubrication system inside the bearing can effectively reduce the friction coefficient, reduce the generation of heat, and prolong the service life of the bearing.

Application field

Mining Machinery:In mining equipment such as crushers and vibrating screens, due to the harsh working environment, the equipment is often subjected to large shock loads and vibrations, and the angle deviation between the shaft and the bearing seat is easy to occur. The automatic self-aligning performance and strong bearing capacity of spherical roller bearings can meet the needs of these equipment and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

Paper machinery:The rollers of papermaking machinery usually need to bear a large radial load and a certain axial load, and due to the bending and deviation of the shaft during the installation and operation of the equipment, the bearing needs to have good self-aligning performance.
