Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used type of rolling bearings.

Structural characteristics

Main components:It consists of an outer ring, an inner ring, a rolling element (usually a steel ball) and a cage. The outer ring and the inner ring have raceways for guiding the rolling elements to roll.

The function of the cage is to evenly separate the rolling elements so that they can maintain a relatively stable position and motion during operation.

Channel design:In its name “Deep” It refers to the fact that the radius of curvature of the outer ring raceway and the inner ring raceway is relatively large, and the channel is curved and deeply sunken, which makes the contact area between the rolling element and the raceway larger, which is conducive to bearing radial loads and certain axial loads.

Performance advantages

Low friction:The rolling friction coefficient between the rolling element and the raceway is small, which can effectively reduce energy loss and improve mechanical efficiency during operation.

High speed:It can adapt to high speed requirements due to its structural design, which makes the centrifugal force of the rolling element relatively small during operation, and the cage can maintain the stable movement of the rolling element well, reducing the vibration and heat generated by high-speed operation.

Bearing capacity:It has a strong radial bearing capacity and can withstand radial forces from different directions. For example, in motors, automobile wheels and other equipment, it can effectively support rotating parts and bear their weight and radial loads generated during operation. At the same time, it also has a certain axial bearing capacity, but the relative radial bearing capacity is weak.
